[Single] Wonder Girls - So Hot

Jun 5, 2008 Author: makkun | Filed under: Singles, Wonder Girls

First Korean single uploaded on TSUNKO! Yay! Our girls are working pretty hard these past few months and because of that they deserve an entry in this blog! (LOL). Well, they were really phenomenal with last year’s Tell Me, and now “dancing gorillaJYP is trying to go hallyu once more by including Tell Me w/Yoo Bin’s rap in this single. My favorite is This Time though.

Btw, I saw “So Hot” MV a few days ago (download HQ torrent here). Personally, I think the tiger prints + sexier look is going to hurt these girls in the near future. They are trying a bit too hard looking mature when they are still kids (especially geeky Sunmi and Sohee). Some people at Soompi are actually against the sexy image of Wonder Girls (myself included). Well, they can go SO HOT when the youngest members turn 18 or 19, right? (and perhaps challenge JEWELRY or Lee Hyori). Putting that aside, they perform really well on stage (compared to KARA.. but I like KARA’s music more). JYP should probably just put more clothes on these girls. [Download links after the cut].

[Single] DBSK - Beautiful You / Sennen Koi Uta

Apr 23, 2008 Author: makkun | Filed under: DBSK, Singles

DBSK seems pretty busy this year. They just released Keyword/Maze last month, and now they’re back with a new single! (Their third Japanese album “T” hasn’t even reached the number one spot in Oricon charts yet). Oh well, I just hope Avex Trax won’t overwork are cute boys. Oh God they look so cool in white. (especially Park Yu Cheon). [Download links after the cut].

[Album] Younha - Songs ~Teen’s Collection~

Apr 3, 2008 Author: makkun | Filed under: Albums, Younha

Well, Younha’s record companies (SONY Japan and STAM Entertainment) seem to have a habit of recycling her songs. With her being both a Japanese and Korean artist, each company made profits by translating her songs from Japanese to Korean and vice versa. In this album, however, SONY Japan included a DVD of her PVs as a bonus (not like we have’t seen her PVs before). There’s also a new song entitled “Kono Kokoro” (which STAM will probably translate in her second Korean album), plus the full version *finally* of Scratch on the Heart (the OP theme of the anime series Maple Story). Finally, there’s the Japanese version of her ever-popular “Password 486″.

You must be thinking, “Isn’t this just like her first Japanese album Go! Younha?”. Well, yes, ~Teen Collection~ is, just as it says, a collection of her Japanese singles, however in this album, SONY Japan did not include the following tracks: Orenji no Hatsukoi, Aoi Lemon, Ashita, Tenki ni Nare, Aiaigasa, Negai wa Hitotsu, Himawari, and Omoide ni Dekinai. You can say that in this album, they only included Younha’s popular songs, such as Houkiboshi, Yubikiri and Te wo Tsunaide (or Younha picked them herself). But even though I like Younha very much, I believe SONY Japan is not managing her well. Her albums are redundant, and it’s been a long while since she’s made a Japanese album of fresh Japanese Pop songs. [Download links after the cut]
