“I want to be acknowledged by Lt. Doujo instead of my Prince Charming.”
Iku’s interrogation didn’t turn out quite well, despite the script that Lt. Chibi-chan prepared for her. Rumors about her involvement in the unjust book burning started spreading like wildfire, until her colleagues started avoiding her. Eventually she was invited to join the Library Affairs Committee, however the true purpose of that meeting didn’t really involve her. At the end of the day, Iku finally discovers who her Prince Charming was.
The following day was Promotion Test Day, given to first class librarians like Iku, Shibasaki and Hikaru. The practical test involves reading books to children. Hikaru asked for Shibasaki’s help since he’s weird around kids, while Lt. Chibi-chan volunteered tutoring Iku for the written exams. Will the two hot-heads pass?

“My idiot subordinate is being summoned for interrogation, how can I stay calm?”
The story focuses on Shibasaki and her new-found friend Hikaru Asahina. They dated informally for a while with books and libraries as their mutual interests. Meanwhile, the other Hikaru (Tezuka) is being encouraged by his brother (Satoshi) to join the Library Affairs Research committee. The plot thickens as Iku becomes involved in a crime of unjust book burning. Looks like the war on “information control” will turn for the worse with a new group messing up the other two.

“Who knows what he may do if he wasn’t given some responsibility?”
Komaki and Iku were assigned to retrieve a very special but controversial book. On the way back to HQ they encountered a group of sinister soldiers from the Media Enhancement act. Escape was the only thing they can think of, but there’s Iku’s mouth and hot attitude to worry about above everything else.

Base Ball Bear reminds me of Asian Kung-fu Generation/Sambomaster, but I believe their music leans more to the Pop-punk genre. Anyway, Changes is Toshokan Sensou’s (Library War) ending theme. Dramatic and Fiction Once More are my favorites though. Hmm, maybe I’ll post BBB Discography here someday. [Download links after the cut]

“Would it be better if I was like Shibasaki?”
Iku’s parents came for a visit. It would have been alright if Iku had not hidden the fact that she’s a member of the Library Task Force. Now she has to force everyone to go along with her lie, including her intelligent but mischievous friend Shibasaki and her number one enemy Chibi-chan. Will she be able to deceive her parents? It seemed easy at first, until a supporter of the Media Improvement act came to the library and caused an uproar.
