I wonder if you felt anything.”

Takashi’s class decided to hold a Courage Test in an old School building which was scheduled to be taken down the following day. Inside, Takashi encounters the God of Youth, a powerful spirit who harbors a grudge against the greedy humans. Things turned for the worse when the students started disappearing one by one.

Rating: ★★★★☆

The story seems a little hurried, so it didn’t affect me much, although the human form of Nyanko (I thought he looks a lot like Reiko) and the thing between Sasada and the God of Youth (Shigure) were pretty exciting.

I had high hopes about this Courage Test episode, and I thought Shigure was mighty powerful, but Takashi easily defeated him (by this I mean released him) with little help from Nyanko. What really caught my attention for the first time is the pattern by which the spirits are released. Apparently, during the transfer of name, Takashi can look into the mind of the spirit and he can really see what’s in its heart: thoughts, emotions, memories. I find that rather amusing. So far most of the spirits who approach Takashi are harmless and actually lovable. Kappa was cute! and LOL @ the soot sprites!

On another note, I thought I’d see Tanuma here.
