Tsubaki enters the demon blade’s soul to defeat her brother Masamune. Outside, Black Star was silently waiting for her return, unaware of people bludgeoning him with sticks left and right. Back in Shibusen, Maka and the rest were worriedly watching the events through the magical mirror of Shinigami. If Tsubaki is lucky, she’ll be able to absorb her very first soul, but then, she didn’t know her brother harbored such deep grudge against her that he’s willing to stop at nothing.

Wow, sibling rivalry is scary. Masamune almost became a Kishin because the family powers which ought to have been passed on to him (being the eldest) was passed on to Tsubaki. Can’t blame him though. Tsubaki can be a klutz sometimes.

Great episode as usual. Black Star is so charming, I think I like him better now than Death the Kid. Liz is so cute too. Dr. Stein is pretty. I wonder why Maka’s Papa is nowhere to be seen. Anyways, Medusa arc will resume in the next episode. Which is yay. More Maka and Soul!! Where’s Blair by the way?? I’m kinda missing her lately.
