Who knows what he may do if he wasn’t given some responsibility?”

Komaki and Iku were assigned to retrieve a very special but controversial book. On the way back to HQ they encountered a group of sinister soldiers from the Media Enhancement act. Escape was the only thing they can think of, but there’s Iku’s mouth and hot attitude to worry about above everything else.

***This episode is boring and redundant. It always goes down to Chibi-chan saving Iku from danger. That or getting books in and out of libraries. It bothers me to think that the scope of this series will only focus on these things (which is really boring when you think about it). I don’t think they’ve ever actually opened a book and discussed its contents and how it expresses freedom for the Japanese. If my memory is correct, I believe a character in this show mentioned that if the other nations can see what they’re doing, they’ll think its ridiculous. Well, he or she is definitely right. It’s ridiculous because we can already see which side is better — the Library Corps. I mean if you are a citizen of that country, you’d go for freedom, correct? I don’t know what the Media Enhancement Act is really fighting for in the first place. It’s better if there is an existing conflict between two groups and the viewer is torn between them (e.g. abortion, euthanasia).
